This serie, who mix the collage and the monotype technic with Chinese Ink on wood, express the desire to go back to the roots. More exactly to the primary spring, the birthplace of humanity or rather to an humanity who are not crumbled and lost in his own modernity. This return to the tribal‘s term, almost mystical, is necessary against a modernity without future. A waning modernity almost grotesque where the over-technologie, the over-consumption and his over-production, the dream of colonization of space, looks more close to a chimera as a real lead for the human race. This serie, Africa, is composed of two big pieces , each one, in duality with the colors, are symbolic and representative of this continent through his culture and landscape and through the imaginary I got from. The smallers are the symbolic of the deep Africa, the savannah where the wildest and the purity reach the paroxysme. This return to the roots of humanity is a vision, an utopia, a symbiosis where the nature and the human, the ancestral and the modernity, the abstraction and the figurative are just one.
