Sonata series 2019

This series is made of the score of Antonio Vivaldi print and past on wood. I found them in the street like this. I used this find (the score) to past them on a frame of wood and I added painting and collage.Sonata series is a series about the link between music and art painting. The element of the rhythmic, who is present in a lot of my work, is there exploited a lot, and become, in association and in confrontation with the graphic elements like picture or collage, a play. This play creating an abstraction on the base score of Vivaldi, the notes become the graphic elements and the graphic elements added become the rhythm. This play between the both create the interest of this series.This series is an expression about the language. The pictorial and the musical language tell something universal. A lot of problem of our society hyper connected is paradoxically our less of communication, real communication. The speech can solve a lot of problem, but we don’t use it well because of cowardliness and cause it’s harder to confront us to each other and exchange opinion in step of stay in the silence and to bury one’s head in the sand.
